The Indian government has banned a further 54 mobile apps. The new ban also includes Chinese apps. The ban is aimed at endangering India's security, sovereignty and integrity.

The Indian government has banned a further 54 mobile apps. The new ban also includes Chinese apps. The ban is aimed at endangering India's security, sovereignty and integrity. The new ban also includes the first banned apps. Have also re-emerged as clones. This is the first lot of apps banned by the government in 2022 after a total of 270 apps were banned after 2020. A further 50 apps have been banned, according to a report. The app is banned under Section 69A of the IT Act.
  
According to the report, a popular smartphone game called Garena Free Fire had disappeared from Google Play Store and Apple App Store earlier and it seems that this game has joined the list of banned apps in India.

However, according to the report, the new list of banned apps includes clones of most apps. Which were already banned in India from 2020. The list of total apps banned by India, along with 50 other banned apps, has reached close to 320.

The Indian government has previously banned a number of popular apps, including Tiktok and Pubji Mobile. When Pubji Mobile returned to India, Kraft set up a new office and severed ties with his Chinese partners. Tiktok has not been so lucky and is banned in the country. According to the report, the new list of banned apps includes clone apps, including some Chinese.

Then in September 2022, India banned 118 other mobile apps , including the popular gaming app Pubji. In addition to Pubji, apps like Livic, WeChat Work, WeChat Reading, Carrom Friends, CamCard were banned.
