Public and private banks will be closed on the second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays in October due to the festivals. According to Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines, banks are closed on all public holidays but some holidays are regional, i.e. limited to certain states only. Regional holidays are determined by the respective state governments.

If you are also planning to work with the bank in the month of October, read this news. As many festivals like Navratri, Dussehra, Eid are coming up in October 2021, the bank will be closed for 21 days. If there is any work, finish it in the coming week. The list released by the Reserve Bank of India varies from state to state. This means that if there is a day off in one state, the bank may be open in another state on that day .
