Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens (Male & Female) to fill up the 65 vacancies of Constable (General Duty) Group-'C'(non-gazetted and non-ministerial) under Sports Quota in the Sports disciplines as given below in the Level-3 in the Pay Matrix Rupees 21,700-69,100 (as per 7th CPC) & other allowances as admissible in the Force:-

ગુજરાત રાજ્ય 1 મે, 1903 ના રોજ બૃહદ મુંબઈ (મહારાષ્ટ્ર) રાજ્યથી અલગ થયું અને નવા રાજ્ય તરીકે અસ્તિત્વમાં આવ્યું. કક્ષાના અધિકારીઓની નિમણૂક કરવામાં આવી હતી. પાછળથી વર્ષ 19 માં આ પોસ્ટને અપગ્રેડ કરવામાં આવી અને નવી પોસ્ટનું નામ બદલીને પોલીસ મહાનિર્દેશક અને મુખ્ય પોલીસ અધિકારી રાખવામાં આવ્યું.
રાજ્ય પોલીસ વિભાગના વડા તરીકે DG અને IGP નું મહત્વ: પોલીસ મહાનિર્દેશકની કચેરી પોલીસ વિભાગનું મુખ્ય કેન્દ્રબિંદુ છે અને પોલીસ મહાનિર્દેશક અને મુખ્ય પોલીસ અધિકારી ગુજરાત પોલીસના વડા છે. તમામ સરકારી નીતિઓ, આદેશો, સૂચનાઓ અને સૂચનાઓ તેમજ ગૃહ વિભાગના સમયાંતરે આદેશો તેમજ પોલીસ વિભાગને અન્ય જરૂરી સૂચનાઓ, સ્થાનિક વ્યવસ્થા અને રાજ્યમાં કાયદો અને વ્યવસ્થા જાળવવા માટે જરૂરી સૂચનાઓને મજબૂત બનાવવી તમામ પ્રક્રિયાઓ પોલીસની શિસ્તના અમલ માટે અનુસરવા માટે અહીંની કચેરી દ્વારા કરવામાં આવે છે.
પોલીસ મેન્યુઅલ ભાગ -2 મુજબ, કાયદો અને વ્યવસ્થા જાળવવાની અને ગુનાને નિયંત્રિત કરવાની મુખ્ય જવાબદારી પોલીસ મહાનિર્દેશકની છે. પોલીસ વિભાગને ગૃહ વિભાગ હેઠળ મૂકવામાં આવ્યો છે. ડીજી અને આઈજીપી ઓફિસની જવાબદારીઓ:
👉 પોલીસ મહાનિર્દેશકની કચેરીમાં કાયદો અને વ્યવસ્થા જાળવવા માટે પોલીસ મહાનિર્દેશક (કાયદો અને વ્યવસ્થા) ની નિમણૂક કરવામાં આવી છે. તેમનું મુખ્ય કાર્ય પોલીસ મહાનિર્દેશકના માર્ગદર્શન મુજબ કાયદો અને વ્યવસ્થા સંબંધિત તમામ મુદ્દાઓની દેખરેખ અને સંચાલન કરવાનું છે. ઉપરાંત, DIGGP (કાયદો અને વ્યવસ્થા) ની નિમણૂક કરવામાં આવી છે, જે પોલીસ મહાનિર્દેશક (કાયદો અને વ્યવસ્થા) ના માર્ગદર્શન હેઠળ કાયદો અને વ્યવસ્થા અને ગુના સંબંધિત પ્રવૃત્તિઓ કરે છે.
👉 વહીવટ અને દેખરેખમાં સરળતા માટે અધિક પોલીસ મહાનિર્દેશક (વહીવટ) ની નિમણૂક કરવામાં આવી છે. A-1, A-2, B, E, અંદાજપત્ર, હિસાબ, પેન્શન, F, M, JMT, રજિસ્ટ્રી, રેકોર્ડ, P.R.O. વગેરે શાખાઓ આવેલી છે. જ્યાંથી કાર્યાલયની વહીવટી તેમજ નાણાકીય કામગીરી કરવામાં આવે છે.
👉 પોલીસ સુધારા માટે અધિક પોલીસ મહાનિદેશક (PRM) ની નિમણૂક કરવામાં આવી છે. જેઓ પોલીસ વિભાગમાં જરૂરી સુધારા કરવાના હેતુથી ફરજ પર છે.
👉 સમાજના નબળા અને પછાત વર્ગના ઉત્થાન અને તેમની સાથે થઈ રહેલા અન્યાય માટે અધિક પોલીસ મહાનિર્દેશક (SC/ST અને નબળા વર્ગો) ની નિમણૂક કરવામાં આવી છે. જે રાજ્યની અનુસૂચિત જાતિ/અનુસૂચિત જનજાતિના પ્રશ્નો અને ગુનાઓના પ્રતિનિધિત્વ માટે માર્ગદર્શક અને શિક્ષાત્મક ફરજ તરીકે કામ કરે છે.
👉 માનવ અધિકાર અને સામાજિક ન્યાય પર કામ કરવા માટે પોલીસ નાયબ મહાનિરીક્ષક (માનવ અધિકાર અને સામાજિક ન્યાય) ની નિમણૂક કરવામાં આવી છે. માનવ અધિકારો અને સામાજિક ન્યાય પર પ્રશ્નો ઉઠાવવા માટે મુખ્યત્વે કોણ જવાબદાર છે.
👉 પોલીસ મહાનિરીક્ષક (પી એન્ડ એમ) પોલીસ તંત્રને અત્યાધુનિક હથિયારોથી સજ્જ કરવા માટે પોલીસ કચેરીઓને જરૂરી સંસાધનો પૂરા પાડવા માટે કાર્યરત છે.
👉 પોલીસ અધિકારીઓ/કર્મચારીઓ સામે ગંભીર આરોપો અને ગુનાઓનો સામનો કરવા માટે અધિક પોલીસ મહાનિર્દેશક (તપાસ) ની નિમણૂક કરવામાં આવી છે. તે તમામ બાબતોને ડીજીપીના સીધા માર્ગદર્શન હેઠળ યોગ્ય રીતે સંભાળે છે અને અહીંની ઓફિસમાં એક રમખાણ સેલ પણ કાર્યરત છે.
👉 પોલીસ મહાનિર્દેશકની કચેરીમાં રાજ્ય પોલીસ કંટ્રોલ રૂમ કાર્યરત છે જે રાજ્યભરમાં દૈનિક ધોરણે બનતા ગંભીર ગુનાઓ અને મહત્વની ઘટનાઓ વિશે વિસ્તૃત માહિતી આપે છે અને દરેક સંબંધિત અધિકારીને જાણ કરે છે. કંટ્રોલરૂમ માટે નાયબ પોલીસ અધિક્ષકની નિમણૂક કરવામાં આવી છે. તેમજ અન્ય જરૂરી કામદારો 24 કલાક ફરજ પર છે.
👉 પોલીસ વિભાગ દ્વારા કાયદો અને વ્યવસ્થા જાળવવાના હેતુથી રાજ્યમાં નાયબ કમિશનર/રેન્જ/જિલ્લાનો સમાવેશ કરવામાં આવ્યો છે.
કમિશનરેટ વિસ્તાર - 1.) અમદાવાદ શહેર 2.) વડોદરા શહેર 5.) રાજકોટ શહેર 5.) સુરત શહેર ચાર કમિશનરેટ વિસ્તારો છે. પોલીસ કમિશનરની સત્તા હેઠળ આવતા શહેરો.
શ્રેણી વિસ્તાર - અમદાવાદ, ગાંધીનગર, વડોદરા, સુરત, રાજકટ, જુનાગઢ, સીમા રેન્જ, પંચમહાલ-ગોધરા અને ભાવનગર એમ કુલ નવ રેન્જ છે.
