Corona's family to get Rs 50,000 assistance News Report
The second wave of corona in the country was extremely deadly. A number of people lost their lives in this wave. The Center has made a big statement in a reply to the Supreme Court that Rs 50,000 will be provided to the families of all those who have died from the corona virus. This amount of assistance will be provided by the state from its Disaster Relief Fund to the relatives of the victims. The National Disaster Management Authority (NDRF), functioning under the Central Government, today filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court seeking information on the amount and procedure of compensation for Koro's death.

Earlier, an application was filed in the Supreme Court seeking compensation of Rs 4 lakh each to the family of the person who lost his life due to Corona. As a rule, compensation of Rs 4 lakh is given to the families of those who die due to natural calamities. But the central government refused to pay compensation after the number of people killed by the corona.
Pressure from the Supreme Court
The Center had said that giving so much money would be a huge loss to the government. But after pressure from the apex court, the apex court today told NDRF that compensation of Rs 50,000 would be given to the families of those who died due to corona.
