The Co-WIN app will launching by the Union Ministry of Health to deliver the vaccine to the people. Moreover this app will help in real time monitoring of vaccine delivery. Through the app, the government will be able to keep the data of vaccinated people safe.

 MYSY Tuition Fee Scholarship Year 2020-21

Eligibility criteria for Scholarship for Academic Year 2020-21

• For scholarship in Diploma admissions, the candidate should have passed the Std X from a recognized board from state of Gujarat with minimum 80 percentile in the board examination
• For scholarship in Bachelor degree programs, the candidates should have passed Std XII Science/ General stream from recognised board from the state of Gujarat with minimum80 percentile in the board examination.
• For Diploma to Degree students the minimum eligibility criteria for availing the benefits of the scheme is a 65% marks at Diploma level examination from recognised university situated in the state of Gujarat.
• The candidates whose parents annual income is not more than Rs. 6,00,000/- per annum shall only be considered eligible for the said scheme.
• The State Government has approved the validity of income certificate for three financial years from date of issue. Accordingly, a candidate who has a valid income certificate need not have to issue it again for next three years financial years.

(A) Tuition Fee Scholarship:

  For admission in Medical and Dental Graduate Level programs in Government Approved self finance institutes, candidate is eligible for 50% of the approved annual tuition or 2,00,000/-whichever is less.

• For admission in Engineering/Technology, Pharmacy, Architecture, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Ayurved, Homeopathy, Paramedical or Veterinary Graduate Level program in Government Approved self finance Institutes, candidate is eligible for 50% of the approved annual tuition or 50,000/- , whichever is less.
• For admission in BSc, B.Com., B.A., B.B.A. or BCA Graduate Level program in Government Approved self finance Institutes, Candidate is eligible for 50% of the approved annual tuition or 10,000/- , whichever is less.
• For admission in Diploma courses in Government Approved self finance Institutes, Candidate is eligible for 50% of the approved annual tuition or 25,000/- , whichever is less.

(B) Hostel Accommodation and food assistance:

•  For Graduate or Diploma level students who has not secured admission in Government/Grant In Aid hostel and who is residing outside of their residential native Taluka place is eligible for Scholarship of Rs. 1,200 per month (for maximum 10 months) in a year.

(C) Book- Instrument Assistance: 

• A onetime book- instrument assistance in the first year of admission for the entire duration of course is available as per following details
  

1. Graduate level student of Medical and Dental is eligible forRs. 10000/- ;
2. Graduate levelEngineering, Technology, Pharmacy, Architecture student is eligible for Rs. 5000/-
3. Diploma level student is eligible for Rs. 3000/-.

Lockdown in Gujarat ? Big Decision on Lockdown

After Rajasthan and Delhi, lockdown is also being considered in Gujarat. According to sources, the government will soon announce lockdowns in at least eight municipalities.

Big news is coming in the state regarding the transition of Corona. The government is also thinking of a lockdown in Gujarat in which there is a rumor through Gandhinagar sources that a strict lockdown will be implemented in 8 constituencies. The government is considering a lockdown. 

The situation is critical in 8 municipal areas in the state. Lockdown has been implemented in Rajasthan and Delhi. Lockdown may take place in Municipal Corporations including Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, Junagadh. 

 

 

Corona status in Gujarat

According to the figures released by the state government, 10,340 new cases of corona have been reported in the state in the last 24 hours while 110 people have died due to the infection. And 3,981 patients have recovered. So far, 3,37,545 patients have   been released from the corona . 

A flurry of 110 patient deaths in the last 24 hours

Notably, 110 people have died during treatment in the state in the last 24 hours. Thus far 5377 people have died due to corona in Gujarat. Corona's case has risen more alarmingly today than it did yesterday, and the death toll is rising. There are currently 329 people on ventilators in the state. The number of active cases has reached 61,647.

Corona  uncontrollable in  Surat  and Ahmedabad

Despite the ongoing vaccination campaign in Gujarat, on the other hand, the situation is dire. Concerns have been growing over Corona's case. Ahmedabad  city ​​has the highest number of 3641 cases in the state while  Ahmedabad  rural has 53 cases. While   1929 new cases have  been reported in Surat city, while  496 cases have been reported in rural Surat .  325 cases were reported in Vadodara city, while 184 cases were reported in rural areas. 683 cases have been reported in Rajkot city and 128 in rural areas. Also, the board exams for Std. 10 and Std. 12 in Gujarat, which were to be held from May 10 to May 25, have been postponed due to the current situation in Corona.

Mass promotion to students in Std-1 to 9 and Std-11
The state government has said that the new dates for the exam will be announced on May 15 after reviewing the transition status of Koro. It has also been decided that due to the announcement of these new dates, students will be given at least 15 days to prepare for the exam. Also, mass promotion will be given to students in Std-1 to 9 and Std-11 in the state this year.

Earlier, Government had prepared an exclusive report on December 21 to give mass promotions to students of Std 1 to 9 and Std 11. 4 months after the report, the state government has announced the decision of mass promotion.
