Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana

 Purpose: Provision for loans up to Rs. 10 lakhs by banks or financial institutions for income generation to micro units and for non-agricultural activities.  This scheme has been launched by Hon'ble Prime Minister on 9th April 2015.

The Prime Minister's Mudra Yojana has been inaugurated by the Hon'ble Prime Minister on 08/09/2015 to provide loans to small business activities under production, service, small business and trade.  Loans under this scheme are available in three categories as under.


Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana



Infant Loan - Loan up to Rs. 50,000 / -


Juvenile loan - Rs. 50,000 / - to Rs


Youth loan - from Rs. 3 lakhs to Rs. 10 lakhs


Eligibility: Any Indian citizen


Benefits / Loans


Loan facility is available without collateral


Organized by women, they will have to pay 0.5% less interest.


Loan facilities for manufacturing, business Arisorphora activities:


Loans for vehicle transaction activities: auto rickshaws, small freight vehicles, wheelers,


Loan to buy a passenger.


Loans for collective, social and personal service activity: Loans for salon, beauty parlor, gym boutiques, tailor shop, dry cleaning, bicycle and motorcycle repair shop, shop for Xerox, drug store, courier agents services etc.


Loans for Food Products Activity: Home industries such as making papad, pickles, jams or jellies, conservation of agricultural products at village level, sweet shops, small food stalls and canteen services, ice and ice cream making units, biscuit, bread making units etc.


Implementing Institutions: A branch of any bank


Sukanya Samrudhi Yojana


Purpose : Good implementation of ambitious schemes under Save Betty, Teach Betty through Post Department.


Eligibility : The mother or father of the child or legal guardian can open an account.  An account can be opened from the birth of a child till the age of ten years (for a maximum of two children) with a minimum amount of Rs.1000.


Benefits : Under this scheme, the legal / natural guardian of the child will get Rs.  1000 to Rs.  Up to Rs 150,000 can be deposited during the year.  The number of installments is not limited.


The interest rate is higher than any other savings plan.


Only one account can be opened for a child.


Relief in income tax can be availed under section 30C.


Up to 50% partial withdrawal facility and age limit of 21 years can be imposed when the child is 18 years of age.

Contact the nearest post office or nationalized bank branch to avail this scheme


The girl's birth certificate must be submitted

Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana

Purpose : To provide financial facilities such as debit card, banking service, deposit, money transaction, insurance, pension etc. to the people along with the bank account.  Besides, Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana is a mission of national financial inclusion.


Eligibility : Anyone above 10 years of age can open a bank account under this scheme.


Advantages:


The benefits associated with this scheme are as follows:


Interest on the deposit


Accident insurance cover of one lakh rupees


No minimum balance is required, however, with the help of Rupee card, it is advisable to deposit a small amount for withdrawal.


Life insurance cover of Rs. 50,000.


Money can be easily transferred across India.


Beneficiaries of government schemes to deposit benefits directly in their account


Will come.


Overdraft facility will be provided after satisfactory transaction in the account for 6 months.

Procedure:


The following documents are required for Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana.


If you have Aadhaar card, B document is not required.


A certificate of current address is required if the address has changed.


If Aadhaar card is not available then any one  the following government documents is required.


● Credentials

● Driving license

● PAN card

● Passport

● NREGA card


Note : If these documents contain the address of the applicant, this will work as proof of identity as well as address.

If any person does not have the above mentioned document then the bank can open an account with any document issued by the Gazetted Officer for the low risk category in which the photo of the person is also certified.

Implementing Institutions: The scheme will be implemented through branches of nationalized and public sector banks, branches of co-operative banks, bank friends, business representatives etc.
